PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner that is shortened in the initial stabilization time when conduction is initiated, and improved in usability, by changing the initial stabilization time of a gas sensor part for an actual condition. SOLUTION: The air cleaner has a detection element for detecting the contamination of air and a gas sensor part 27 for heating with a built-in heater, and is constituted of an initial stabilization time judgment part 36 for determining the initial stabilization time of the gas sensor part 27 according to the output of a previous conduction time storage part 34 for storing a conduction time from the time when a power is thrown to the time when it is pulled out and a non-conduction time storage part 35 for storing a non-conduction time from the time when the power is pulled out to the time when it is thrown again, and changes the initial stabilization time of the gas sensor part 27 according to an actual usage condition, thus realizing an operation suited for an actual usage condition. |
