PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver applicable to plural broadcast systems and reproduces and displays video data with a stereoscopic display system designated by a user. SOLUTION: A discrimination circuit 4 discriminates whether or not received video data correspond to a stereoscopic broadcast system. A user selects one of a stereoscopic display system in a selection circuit 7. An output signal format circuit 5 conducts format processing corresponding to the stereoscopic display system selected by the user in the case that the received video data are the data corresponding to the stereoscopic broadcast and the circuit 5 conducts the format processing corresponding to the received video data independently of the user selection in the case that the received video data are not the data corresponding to the stereoscopic broadcast. |
