PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to select an output for image data of a non-standard size in a print form depending on the application. SOLUTION: Image data to be print out on recording paper are received (S1). Whether the received image data require a non-standard size or a standard size is discriminated, the processing continues to the S8 in the case of the standard size and to the S3 in the case of the non-standard size (S2). Whether or not the image data of the non-standard size are able to be outputted is confirmed, and the processing continues to the S7 when possible and to the S4 when impossible (S3). An output set to a feed paper setting changeover switch SW 9 is confirmed, the processing continues to the S5 when the setting indicates storage to an image data storage section and the processing continues to the S8 when the setting storage of image data to the image data storage section (S4). The image data are stored in the image data storage section (S5). When the image data of a non-standard size are able to be outputted, the stored image data are outputted (S6). The image data are outputted on recording paper of a standard size (S8). When the output of recording paper of a non-standard size is disable, whether the image data are stored or outputted on recording paper of standard size is selected. |
