PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a recording tape by decoding data showing whether scrambled or not while being contained in a control signal, reporting the result to a microcomputer and performing control so as to record data only for the time in which scramble is executed. SOLUTION: A broadcast reception circuit 2, video/audio recording circuit 8 and recording source select switch 9 are controlled by a microcomputer 7 with built-in timer function having a timer function. In the data decoded by a PCM decoder 6, the bit detected result showing whether a video signal is scrambled or not is transmitted to the microcomputer 7 with built-in timer function and used as a control signal for operating the video/audio recording circuit 8 through a timer. Since only a text is scrambled, recording is executed only at the time of scramble by reading the bit data detected by the video signal so that only the text can be continuously recorded while cutting program prenotice or commercial before and after the program text. |
