PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of validity judgment for a packaging state by irradiating a component on a substrate with light from various directions by a dome type diffusion plate and stabilizing an image obtained by a camera even when the tilt or shape of the component is different. SOLUTION: The inspection device 1 is provided with three steps ring type fluorescent lamps 31 to 33 of which diameters are respectively different corresponding to the curved surface of the dome type diffusion plate 4 as a light source 3 and beams emitted from respective lamps 31 to 33 are diffused by the plate 4 and an electronic part P is irradiated with diffused light at various angles. Even when the part P is packaged in an inclined state from a printed board 10, light from any one of angles is reflected by the part P and allowed to arrive at a camera 2 to obtain a stable image. A processing part 5 compares the image with a reference image, good packaging is obtained when matching of a degree included with in a prescribed allowable range is obtained and defective packaging is detected with the matching is not included within the allowable range.
