PURPOSE:Polypeptide with melting point of 206 deg.C, specific rotatory po power of [a]<2>O<7> -54 deg. (c, 0.3; h2 O) and no specific adsorption band in UV spectrum produced from a microorganism which is a bacillus of a shape being 1 X 3- 4mu in size, does not form spores, is gram-negative and has no acid-fast activity.
