PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reproducing device that adaptively selects a frame in a motion image signal decoded from motion image coding data to enable to reproduce a still image with high and almost constant image quality. SOLUTION: A moving image signal that is obtained by reading moving image coded data recorded on an optical disk 11 through an optical disk drive part 10 and by decoding the data through a decode part 20 is outputted from a moving image output part 22 and a frame with the highest image quality is selected among plural frames including a frame designated by a user and its adjacent frames from the moving image signal via a user interface 32 and the image signal of the frame is outputted via a still image output interface 23. |
