PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a injection molded product for a photographic sensitive material that is improved in photographic property, heat resistance, chemical resistance, wear resistance, scratching resistance and injection molding property, and to provide its producing method. SOLUTION: Upper and lower cases 11, 12, a light shielding lid 18 and a spool shaft 21 are injection-molded products and consist of a thermoplastic resin compsn. containing >=50wt.% crystalline syndiotactic polystyrene resin having 1 to 50g/10min melt flow rate. The syndiotactioc polystyrene resin has high melting point and hardness, which reinforces the physical strength of the injection molded products. As for the syndiotactic polystyrene resin, a resin produced by polymn. of styrene monomers by using a single site catalyst and having 220 to 310 deg.C melting point is preferably used because it does not give bad influences on the photographic property of the photographic sensitive material. Moreover, the resin is preferable because it improves the heat resistance and the like of the injection molded products without decreasing the physical strength. Thus, deformation of the injection molded products due to chemicals, heat and shock can be prevented, and therefore faults which decrease the photographic quality of photographic film 14 can be prevented. |
