PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize return functions such as rewind and repeat functions in the lyrics display device which is simply constituted by using character data. SOLUTION: Automatic playing data and lyrics data equivalent to one music are stored in a RAM 54. These data are read in accordance with the progress being made, an automatic playing is conducted and a display device 60 displays the lyrics. While the music is being progressed, the lyrics of the music, to which the music is to be returned, initiated by the repeat function or the returned position data set, which indicates the stored position of the character data corresponding to the lyrics for every prescribed interval for the rewind function, are stored in the RAM 54 by the operation of a repeat operator provided on an operation panel 20. By the repeat command made by the repeat operation element or the rewind operation element provided on the panel 20, the display condition of the lyrics on the device 60 is brought back to the one, which corresponds to the returned position, using the data set in response to any one of the returning specifications for every prescribed interval. |
