PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substance exhibiting good thermoelectric characteristics over a wide temperature range from 100K or below to about 1000K. SOLUTION: The thermoelectric, conversion material contains at least one kind of first element selected from a group of Co, Rh and Ir, at least one kind of second element selected from a group of P, As and Sb, and at least one kind of light element selected from a group of B, C, N and O. Content of the light element is set at 0.001 at.% or above.
