<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system capable of substantially reducing unnecessarily consumed power. SOLUTION: A control signal line for directly connecting a processor 10 and a power source controller 33 is provided and a PSC interface 14 for transferring control signals with the power source controller 33 is incorporated in the processor 10. Then, when all devices including the device (0) 31 and the device (1) 31 connected to an IO bus (0) 3a are in the state of not being used for the long period of time, the processor 10 stops power supply to the IO bus (0) 3a as well in addition to the stoppage of the power supply to the devices connected to the IO bus (0) 3a by transmitting the control signals for instructing the stoppage of the power supply to the IO bus (0) 3a to the power source controller 33.</p> |
