PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide Ni-Cu-Zn ferrite powder, showing high sintering density and low loss magnetic characteristics even at the low sintering temperature of 900 deg.C or lower, which is suitable especially for the ferrite material of a stacked chip transformer. SOLUTION: In the ferrite powder formed by calcining and pulverizing the raw material mixed powder which is mainly composed of Fe2 O3 , NiO, ZnO and CuO, the residual Fe2 O3 after calcination is 5% or less against the Fe2 O3 in raw material, the specific surface area after pulverization is 6 to 10m<2> /g, the Ni-Cu-Zn ferrite powder is characterized that it contains the Tl oxide of 1wt.% or less in terms of Tl2 O2 . |
