PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize a distance between grooves to reduce the occurrence of a data error and also to reduce cross talk between adjacent tracks by conforming a phase of meandering of a tracking groove formed in periodical meanders with that of its adjacent grooves. SOLUTION: The grooves 21 are formed with their meandering phases conformed between the adjacent grooves 21 with each other, and in accordance with these grooves, meandering phases of lands 22 between the grooves 21 are also conformed between the adjacent lands 22 with each other. In other words, the grooves 21 and the lands 22 are formed nearly in parallel. Consequently, since the distance between the adjacent grooves 21 is uniform, recording marks 23a in the same length are recorded in the same size, data errors are reduced, and at the same time, since partial approach of the adjacent grooves 21 does not take place to each other, the problem of increase of a cross talk amt. between the adjacent tacks can also be dissolved. |
