PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of keeping the temperature of a photoreceptor, etc., constant without providing a heating element. SOLUTION: When a temperature in the vicinity of a photoreceptor drum 1 is comparatively low, such a state is regarded as the occurrence of dew condensation, image producing operation is inhibited, fans 4a and 4d are turned off, and a fan 4e is turned on, so that air outside a machine can not enter and warm air in the vicinity of a fixing unit 2 is sent inside the drum 1 and warms it (super low temperature mode). When the temperature is low, the image producing operation is not inhibited, the fans 4a is turned off, the fans 4d, and 4e are turned on; so that the air outside the machine can not enter, and the warm air in the vicinity of the unit 2 is divided and sent outside the machine and inside the drum 1 (low temperature mode). When the temperature is adequate, the fans 4a and 4e are turned off, and the fan 4d is turned on; so that the air can not pass through inside the drum 1. When the temperature is high, the fan 4e is turned off, and the fans 4a and 4d are turned on; so that the air outside the machine is sent inside the drum 1 to cool the drum 1. |
