PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commutator motor with good reliability, by reducing a spark from a carbon brush in its last life stage, and preventing more roughness than necessary in a commutator member. SOLUTION: A contact spring 38 to be connected electrically to a terminal 37 on a winding frame 36 in a stator is provided in a special tube 29. The contact spring 38 is made of two kinds of metals. When the special tube 29 is put at high temperatures caused by a spark from a carbon brush 30 at the last life stage of the brush 30, the contact spring 38 is deformed, and thereby the contact spring 38 is separated from the terminal 37 to break the continuity between the carbon brush 30 and the commutator member 33. Then, the surface of the commutator member 33 is protected from roughening. |
