PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polygon dividing method in which sides are not mutually crossed by using an approximate polygon that is formed, approximating with points of a coordinate where an information processor such as a computer sets plural sides of a simple polygon when the simple polygon is divided by a straight line that connects two points that exist on two optional sides of the approximate polygon. SOLUTION: When a simple polygon is divided by a straight line that connects two points that exist on two arbitrary sides of an approximate polygon by using the approximate polygon that is formed, approximating with points of a coordinate where an information processor such as a computer sets plural sides of a single polygon which are not mutually crossed, and when at least one point between the two points on the straight lines exists inside plural sides that constitute the single polygon, at least the one point is transformed to the outside or on a side of plural sides of the single polygon (S202 to S208). |
