PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner in which a horizontal blade is prevented from being condensed and flexibility of a design is increased with the low cost. SOLUTION: There is provided a drain pan 10 which closes between a heat exchanger 5 and a decorative panel 7 and forms part of a blowoff passage 30 communicating with a blowoff outlet 9. The drain pan 10 is adapted such that a cross section of the blowoff passage 30 is reduced gradually toward the blowoff outlet 9 from an upstream end to prevent air from a wall surface of the blowoff passage 30 from being exfoliated. Thus, air flows smoothly through opposite sides of a horizontal blade 12 to prevent warm air in a room from being entangled. |
