PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copying machine capable of easily setting the user choice value of a newly set department. SOLUTION: In this copying machine; the user choice value of a system is stored in a rewritable storage device such as a hard disk or a backup memory. In the control part of the copying machine; when the user choice of the system is changed (S44) and the new department is registered (S46), the user choice value of the system is used as default, so that the user choice value is newly set based on the user choice value of the system stored in a ROM which can not be changed as in the conventional manner. Therefore, a situation that such setting is troublesome for a user is prevented and the user easily sets the user choice value of the newly set department. |
