摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance charge and discharge characteristic of a hydrogen storage alloy electrode and achieve stable discharge at a high voltage even when a depth of discharge becomes deep, by adding to hydrogen storage alloy at least not less than one kind of Co, Ni and Ru compounds which are bivalent or more together with material which becomes metalized under charging and discharging condition. SOLUTION: Metal compound which becomes metalized by reduction when charging or metal which is not oxidized when discharging can be used for material which becomes metalized under charging and discharging. Especially, in order to enhance conductivity of hydrogen storage alloy when charging and discharging, Cu, Ag, Bi and their compounds are preferable. It is also preferable that these materials are added with a range of 0.1-10% by weight to the hydrogen storage alloy. It is preferable that each compound of Co, Ni or Ru to be added with them is added with a range of 0.05-10% by weight to the hydrogen storage alloy.
