<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an accurate adjusting amt. of a guide post by a relative position discrepancy between a magnetic head and a magnetic track, detected from a signal obtained by reproducing this magnetic track. SOLUTION: A relative position discrepacy between the magnetic heads 2 and 3 and a magnetic track is detected from a signal obtained by reproducing this magnetic track by the magnetic heads 2 and 3, and is also stored over a period of reproducing this one magnetic track by the magnetic heads 2 and 3, and then a regression curve on a stored tracking deviation detected waveform is obtained, and also an amplitude of this regression curve in a present section is calculated to decide an adjusting amt. of the guide posts 4a and 4b.</p> |
