摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve safety, a high capacity and cost reduction of a battery by providing a film having porous polymeric electrolytes in a positive electrode having the electrolyte and between the positive electrode and a negative electrode, the positive and negative electrodes holding an electrolytic solution having a specific volume with respect to a pore volume, or the electrolyte. SOLUTION: In a battery, porous polymeric electrolytes, which are swelled or wetted by an electrolytic solution, are provided between positive and negative electrodes and in the positive electrode. The porous polymer holds the electrolytic solution having a volume of 30-95% of a pore volume. Consequently, even if a liquid injecting quantity to the battery is small and a gaseous component remains, the polymer can absorb the electrolytic solution to uniformly disperse it to the entire electrode, thereby obtaining sufficient battery performance. Since gas serving as a cushion with respect to an increase in pressure exists in the vicinity of the electrode, it is possible to alleviate a local increase in pressure so as to enhance safety even if the electrolytic solution near an inside short-circuited portion is vaporized due to heat generation in the inside short- circuited portion.
