PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery charging device which can accurately detect a state of full charge and also enables avoidance of a state with the generation of energizing stoppage in the course of charging and shortage of charging. SOLUTION: In this device, an energizing circuit 32 is provided and made to function as a refreshing means for making a battery discharge to a prescribed voltage or below and also to function as a means for energizing this battery. A charge amount detecting sensor 35 is provided, so as to detect the amount of charge of the battery. Moreover, a controller (CPU) 33 is provided and made to function as an energizing control means, which stops the energizing of the battery at the time when the amount of charge of the battery becomes a prescribed value or above in the charging, after the refresh processing has been executed. |
