PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it unnecessary to identify the leading of a signal and to unnecessitate any header or the like for that by decoding a signal based on the mean value by each sample value in the same timing of plural frame length, and detecting a synchronizing pattern from the decoded data. SOLUTION: A 32 frame adding part 38 calculates the mean value by each sample value in the same timing in a frame for the sample values of the latest 32 frame length. Then, a decoding part 42 extracts a sample value corresponding to each bit from the output data of the adding part 38 based on a decided judgment point, compares it with a threshold value, identifies whether this is 0 or 1, and decodes the signal. A synchronizing pattern detecting part 43 retrieves a synchronizing pattern by considering that the tail and head of the decoded data are continued, and extracts information bits following the synchronizing pattern when the position of the synchronizing pattern is clarified. Then, an information bit assignment mark detecting part 44 counts the number of marks in information bits, and outputs the data as correct data when the number is a prescribed number. Thus, signal reception with high reliability can be attained.
