PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a permission value against the resistance of a subscriber line and to increase terminal equipments whose line resistance exceeds the permission value by a decrease number which can be stored in an exchange by terminating DC power supplied from an intra-station line terminating equipment to an intra- house line terminating equipment via the subscriber line in the local feeding means of low resistance from the intra-house line terminating equipment. SOLUTION: The local feeding means 600 is inserted into a connection point between the subscriber line 3 and the intra-house line terminating equipment 5. DC power supplied from the intra-station line terminating equipment 4 via the subscriber line 3 interrupts transmission to the intra-house line terminating equipment 5 and it is terminated by the DC terminating means in the local feeding means 600. DC power is supplied to the intra-house line terminating equipment 5 from the feeding means 602 in the local feeding means 600. Thus, the intra-house line terminating equipment 5 can receive DC power (DC current 39mA against an internal resistance 800Ω) required for an operation from the local feeding means 600 even if the line resistance value of the subscriber line 3 becomes 800Ω.
