PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationalize an assembly process by imparting a degree of freedom to the process, to enhance yields by enabling parts to be replaced or corrected after assembly, and to reduce the cost of headlamp by enabling to conduct miniaturization and weight reduction whereby some of functions are shifted to be vehicular body side. SOLUTION: An approximately box-shaped recess 11 is provided in the reference plane 11a of a vehicular body member 10 on the vehicular body side, and a skirt part 2 which is provided at its front end with a lens support groove 2a and at its rear end with a mounting face 2b and which is mounted so that aiming of a reflector 4 can be achieved by means of a fulcrum 21 and aiming screws 22, 23 is provided on the headlamp side; the skirt part 2 with a lens 3 mounted in its lens support groove 2a is fastened onto the reference surface 11b through the mounting face 2b to form a headlamp 1 integrated with the vehicle body, with which a housing that was conventionally provided with an opening only as its front end becomes useable. Therefore, the use of the skirt part 2 open on both sides imparts a degree of freedom to the assembly process which otherwise requires parts to be mounted in order, and thus makes rationalization of the process possible. |
