PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Mn-Zn ferrite which maintains a high initial permeabil ity in a wide temperature range of -20 to 100 deg.C. SOLUTION: This Mn-Zn ferrite contains manganese oxide, zinc oxide and ferrous oxide as the principal component, and bismuth oxide and molybdenum oxide as subcomponent, and when the manganese oxide, the zinc oxide and the ferrous oxide are calculated in terms of MnO, ZnO and Fe2 O3 respectively, the ratio of MnO is 22.0 to 25.0mol%, the ratio of ZnO is 22.0 to 25.0mol% in the principal component, the bismuth oxide component of 50 to 400ppm in terms of Bi2 O3 and the molybdenum oxide component of 50 to 400ppm in terms of MoO3 are added as the subcomponent, and the materials are sintered. The initial permeability at 10kHz is 12000 or higher at -20 to 100 deg.C. |
