PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the dimension between base boards, simplify the positioning of a connector with the base boards, and mutually connect the base boards by one connector by imparting spring property to the contact, fixing one end of the contact to one base board, bringing the other end into contact with the other base board, and providing fixing means for pressing the contact to the base boards on both longitudinal sides of an insulator. SOLUTION: A connecting part 18 in one end of a contact 14 is soldered to a base board 22. The fixed part of the contact 14 is fixed to an insulator 12 by press-in. A connecting part 16 in the other end of the contact 14 is pressed onto the other base board 22 to allow the contact 14 of an electric connector 10 to communicate with the base board 22. Therefore, the contact part 16 is protruded on the upper surface of the insulator 12. The contact 14 is formed into substantially C-shape so as to be deflectable when an arrowed directional (a) force is added thereto. Fixtures 20 having engaging parts 24 are provided on both longitudinal sides of the insulator 12 as fixing means for pressing the contact part 16 of the contact 14 to the base board 22. |
