PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an automatically switching to a corresponding display of a freeway without misjudgement when a vehicle enters the freeway. SOLUTION: In a navigation system of a vehicle which has a road map while inputting information on the position of own vehicle, there are arranged a navigation control section 1 which performs a control to display the position of own vehicle on an ordinary road and the freeway in a fixed range on a road map and a radio wave beacon receiver 5 to receive a radio wave for providing road information to the vehicle running on the freeway. The navigation control section 1 switches the display of the ordinary road to the corresponding display of the freeway corresponding to the freeway by receiving a signal from the radio wave beacon receiver 5. |
