METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING ACCESS OF SOFTWARE TO SYSTEM RESOURCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide suitable technology for controlling access to a computer resource. SOLUTION: An access degree to the operating system resource is defined for a software program and a file containing an instruction for executing the software program is loaded into a computer. The system level access degree for using the software program is obtained during the execution of the software program by checking the file. When the software program is executed, a program instruction associated with the software program is interrupted during the execution of software. It is judged whether the program instruction contains an operation beyond the range of the system level access degree for using the software program or not. When software is judged to possess permission for accessing to the system resource within the usable system level access degree, the program instruction is executed.
