The valve employs a cylindrical drum (10) which is rotatable within a cylindrical chamber (3) by a motor and reduction gear (11). The cylindrical drum is hollow and two openings (13,14) respectively in it's periphery and at one end. The opening in the cylindrical drum periphery (13) includes a filter (15) and in a first position this opening (13) is opposite to the fresh air conduit (1) such that exterior air is admitted to the drum and sent to the vehicle heating or air conditioning system (9) through the side opening (14). In a second position the opening is opposite to the recirculated air conduit (5) and recirculated air is admitted to the air conditioning system or heating system (9). |
