The electric motor has a rotor with a collector with at least two coal brushes, arranged respectively in shafts and pressed by springs against the collector, and a brush plate from an isolating material for the fixture and for the electric contacting of the shafts. The shafts (11) comprise respectively an electrically connected baseplate (14) arranged on the brush plate (10), and a guide element (13), fastened concisely at the baseplate and/or the brush plate. The guide elements comprise respectively radial protruding tongues (23,24) which are formed to engage with extrusions (25,26) of one of the baseplates.
