<p>A page table (705) is provided in a kernel space on a main storage, and a PCB (707), a transmitting buffer (708) and a data pool (706), which are managed by the page table, are provided in a user space. An NIA (14) is provided therein with an address conversion unit having registers for storing the actual address and size of the page table and address information on the PCB (707), transmitting buffer (708) and data pool (706) which are used for user processes during the transmission and reception of messages. To make access to the page table (705), PCB (707), transmitting buffer (708) and data pool (706), the necessary kernel management information is taken into the NIA (14), whereby the protection between the user processes can be attained in the memory access by the NIA (14).</p> |
