Rubber mould seal having several mounting openings for e.g. vehicle sump seal

An esp. automotive rubber seal for e.g. cylinder head valve cover, oil sump lid or gear box lid is moulded to the required shape and has a number of holes (6, 26) for the attachment fixtures. The seal is spray-attached to a structure (2) which strengthens and maintains the seal form and fit. The strengthening structure is formed by one or more pieces of bent wire (4).
