The invention relates to a holder having two receiving cavities (2, 3) each able to accommodate one housing (7, 8) of an optical plug-in connector. At least one housing (7) is positioned in its receiving cavity (2) with a radial play in relation to its longitudinal axis (21). For greater ease of use and to prevent the housing from rattling, at least one elastic element (20) acts on the plug-in connector housing (7) having radial play, which elastic element places the housing of the plug-in connector (7) into a defined resting position.
