Automatic tool change device

The automatic tool changing device is for a universal machining centre (1). It has a stand (7), on which a one-piece or multi-piece carrier arm (8) can turn or be pushes along. There is a tool change head (11) on the free end of the carrier arm. A carriage can move on guides in the tool change head. There are two tool grip forks (12,13) which can move in guides in the carriage, perpendicular to the carriage guides. The carrier arm may be able to turn on the stand about a vertical axis.
