摘要 The method involves measuring at least one electrical parameter of the motor (1). This parameter is compared with corresponding known electric parameters of the motors in the group. When there is a sufficient match of parameters between the two sets of parameters, the tested motor is identified as the determined motor. The electric parameter may be a winding impedance defined as a ratio of winding voltage to winding current. Alternatively, the parameter may be a phase shift between voltage and current. Measurements may be carried out with several power ranges to identify a motor with a device for switching between power ranges.
