Compost heap inverter has paddle wheel with series of lifting blades

A rotating paddle wheel drum assembly passes along and through a largeheap of composting organic matter, lifting, turning and repositioning the matter with each pass. The paddle wheel drum has a series of horizontal blades (6) turning approx. parallel to the drum axis. Each blade consists of two sections forming an open V-shape. Each paddle bears a series of blades, the blades on each paddle being aligned with the gaps between blades on the adjacent paddle.
