A commercial vehicle cabin is incorporated within a framework structure whose cross-members (2,3,6) are joined by a corner fitting (1). Both the cross-members and the corner-fittings have flat edge surfaces (26) for vehicle body panels making up the cabin structure. The surfaces (26) are located below the upper limit of the assembled cross-member and corner-fitting profiles, so that the panel outer surface is aligned with the profile upper limit to provide a flush finish. The flat surfaces (36) extend as a radius to the upper limit of the cross-members and the corner-fitting profile.
