<p>A heat-treating apparatus for heating, cooling or drying a steel band by blowing a jet streams of a gas to the steel band, including a resistance body provided at the distal end of a nozzle for jetting a gas jet stream in such a manner that the projection area of the resistance body is not more than 3 to 12 % of the sectional area of the nozzle, or a resistance plate provided at the distal end of a nozzle for jetting a gas jet stream in such a manner that the projection sectional area of the resistance plate is less than 3 % of the sectional area of the nozzle and the plate length in a nozzle axial direction inside the nozzle is at least 50 % of the nozzle diameter.</p> |
