The invention relates to an improved method for producing compounds of the formula (III) wherein A represents CH=CH or S, W represents O, X represents S, O or NR<2>, the radical R<2> being hydrogen or C1-C6alkyl, Y represents CH or N, R represents naphthyl, thienyl or phenyl which is optionally mono- or disubstituted with C1-C3 alkyl, CF3, C1-C3 alkoxy, F, Cl or bromine, R<1> represents hydrogen or C1-C6 alkyl and n represents 1-3 by reacting compounds of the formula (IV) wherein A, W, X, Y, R, R<1> and n have the meaning given above with activated aluminum in a protic solvent. The invention also relates to new compounds of the formula III and medicaments containing these compounds.
