Bracket for fixing components to surfaces

The bracket consists of shell (3) which is made from flat strip which is bent, preferably, into a C-shape with straight back (4). The ends (7) of the 'C' are bent outward and sections of stud (8) are welded to the ends. A stud is split across its diameter to form the stud sections which can cover half or less than half of the diameter of a full stud. Holes (11) made in the blank of the bracket make it easier to bent the bracket into the required shape.
