The invention concerns an electrical or electronic apparatus (1) to be placed on a carrier rail (2), with a housing (3), at least one printed circuit board (4) disposed in the latter, and contacts (6a, 6b) pointing in the carrier rail longitudinal direction (R) for a data- and/or energy-bus connection to adjacent electrical or electronic apparatus which are placed on the carrier rail (2) and comprise corresponding contacts. According to the invention, in order to be able to replace the printed circuit board (4) in a simple manner, without interrupting the data- and/or energy-bus connection, the housing (3) is designed in at least two parts, an upper part (7) receiving the printed circuit board (4) and a base part (8) comprising the contacts (6a, 6b) being provided.
