<p>The cable twisting machine has a fixed section (11a) of the frame (11) which carries a C-shaped mounting (14) on a vertical plane. Its ends, aligned vertically with each other, carry the bearings (15,16) for the rotor (13). It also forms the base (18) which supports the mounting on a rest (19) in a relatively supple manner. The elastic support can be compressed by 15-20 mm under a weight of 750 kg. The elastic support is divided into a number of spaced contact points, of an elastic material, e.g. "Silentbloc" (RTM), or "Evidgom" (RTM). A sandwich structure within separate rigid shoes (33) may be used. At least one contact point has a vertical tie (38) with a retaining shoulder.</p> |
