The machine has a magnetic circuit with excitation components and stator with magnetic circuit having corresponding coil. The magnetic circuit of the rotor has end covers (3) fitted on a shaft (1). A toothed disc (4) is arranged between the end covers, its teeth being evenly distributed over its periphery. At least one ring piece (9) is fitted on the end covers and supplied with ports (10) regularly distributed over its periphery. In each of the ports, is engaged a tooth of at least one toothed disc. The end covers and the at least one toothed disc define between them intervals in which are located the excitation components (14, 15). The end covers and the toothed disc are provided with central bores (6, 7) through which the shaft (1) passes and distance pieces (8) are fitted between the toothed disc and the end covers.
