<p>A multiple flat plug has a sleeve body (12) which has through-openings (17, 18), parallel to the axis, in order to accommodate flat plug elements (19) which are connected to cable conductors (23, 24, 25). The sleeve body (12), which is made of insulating material, is inserted into a sleeve (10) made of metal, the sleeve body (12), whose length is shorter than that of the sleeve (10), being located with one of its ends approximately in the plane of one end surface of the sleeve (10) in the assembled state, while in contrast the other end of the sleeve body (12) is located within the sleeve (10), at a distance from its end edge.
