Propylene polymer composition

A composition suitable for moulding comprises: [a] a random copolymer of propylene and 2-6 wt. % ethylene; lb] a hydrogenated elastomeric block copolymer having at least two end blocks of polymerised vinyl aromatic compound and an elastomeric mid block of polymerised conjugated diene and; [c] an elastic metallocene based polyolefin. In component lb] the end blocks are preferably polystyrene and the mid block is either poly 1,3-butadiene or polyisoprene. Component [c] is preferably an ethylene-butylene copolymer made using a metallocene catalyst. The components [b] and [c] are effectively modifiers for component [a] which in practice will be the major component. Its impact strength and anti 'blushing' lie whitening under impact] properties are improved. Also disclosed but not claimed are compositions where component [a] is anyα- olefin polymer including homopolymers.
