发明名称 Torque magnetometer utilizing integrated piezoresistive levers
摘要 <p>The magnetometer has a non-conductive substrate (45) on which a cantilever-like torque lever (52) is arranged. The substrate is removably inserted into a test chamber. A platform (51) projecting from edge of the lever, holds a sample. A set of connection legs (46,47) couple platform with the lever. A set of parallel piezo-resistors (R11,R12) are formed on the connection legs. Several contact pads (54-57) are arranged on substrate, to detect and compare signals output from piezo-resistors. Power is applied to piezo-resistors through a set of output terminals. The output of piezo-resistors is applied to a wheatstones bridge through a set of output terminals. The resistance of piezo- resistor varies by torsion of platform effected by magnetic torque induced by magnetic field acting on the sample. Based on output signals of piezo-resistors, the magnetic effect on sample is analysed.</p>
