Disclosed is an electrical device (1), specially a car radio, enabling simplified voice input. To this end, said electrical device (1) comprises a voice input facility, chiefly via a microphone (5), and a voice evaluation module (10). A display (15) is also provided. A control panel (20) can be displayed thereon (15). Monosyllabic position indicators (40, ...., 51) are allocated to the various control functions (25, ..., 36) represented on the control panel (20). The control functions (25, ..., 36) can be activated by position indicator (40, ..., 51) voice input.
