PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a smooth mode change by placing restrictions with the first voltage command restricting means to the voltage where a voltage amplitude command can output a sinewave, and regulating a voltage phase command with the second voltage command restricting means if the voltage amplitude command is larger than the voltage which can output a sinewave. SOLUTION: A mode discriminating part 5 always output HI at |V1|<Vmax, and a switching part 4 for voltage command restriction selects the first voltage command restricting means 2. A mode discriminating part 5 outputs L0 at a mode 1 of L0 and |V1|>=Vmax, and the switching part 4 for voltage command restriction selects the second voltage command restricting means 3. |V1| and θ1 are inputted into the first voltage command restricting means 2 and the second voltage command restricting means 3 to output |V1|' and θ11* as the correction values of a voltage amplitude command and a voltage phase command. The |V1|', θ11*, and θ1 are inputted in a PWM pattern generating part 1 to generate a suitable PWM pattern. |
