REVERBERATING SIGNAL AUTOMATIC GENERATOR AND METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically generate a reverberating signal in a room with high quality and in a short time by providing a second and a third signal processing means for generating a first and a second acoustic signals and a fourth signal processing means for connecting/synthesizing initial reflecting sound and the first, second acoustic signals. SOLUTION: Reverberating sound is divided into a first reverberating signal for initial reflecting sound and a second reverberating signal for the succeeding rear reverberating sound and they are separately generated. The generated acoustic signals are connected/synthesized. Namely, a playing processor such as a microcomputer is used in a reverberating signal automatic generator 1 and a reverberating signal is automatically generated based on acoustic information data of e.g. a concert hall, etc., according to a reverberating signal automatic generating method. The generated reverberating signal is transferred to a known convolving device 2. The convolving device 2 convolves/synthesizes a sound source signal having no echo and the reverberating signal. The synthesized acoustic signal is reproduced/outputted from a speaker 4.
